We believe in products Made in the USA, and that’s why every step of the Easy Step System is produced right here in Tyler, Texas, by Regal Machine MFG. Regal is located on 10 acres just south of Interstate 20 and currently has 50,000 square feet under roof.

From start to finish, all parts are signed off at each operation by a quality control technician to guarantee that all specifications are met. Our steps are built using heavy wall carbon steel material produced with high tolerance CNC machines and welded by certified welders.

Laser – AMADA LCG 3015 AJ Fiber Laser - AMADA FO3015 CO2 Laser

AMADA FO3015 CO2 Laser All brackets and steps are processed using one of the high-speed laser cutting systems. Each machine is programmed offline and files are sent from the network to machine to produce parts with tolerances of +/-.005”. With the use of a laser, features are cut with machined like finishes and premium edge quality eliminating any secondary deburring operations. Each machine is equipped with two 5’ X 10’ tables which allows the operator to remove cut parts on one table while the machine is cutting more parts on the other table.

Brake – AMADA HDS 2204NT - HDS 1303NT

Steps and any brackets that require forming are bent using high-precision hydraulic press brake. Like our laser process, all formed parts are also programmed offline using software that develops a bend program based on the solid cad model. This reduces the amount of setup parts and increases production by eliminating programming each machine on the production floor. Each machine features a 3D simulation of the bending sequence which enables the identification of problems before they occur.

Saw – Hyd-Mech H-22A Automatic Band Saw

Any tubular parts or solid square stock is saw cut using a horizontal band saw with a high-speed shuttle feed indexing up to 34” in a single movement. Each part is programmed and automatically fed to the proper length and then is clamped in place while a 2” tall x 22’-6” blade cuts through. With a clamp capacity of 22” X 22”, it allows for large bundles of material to be cut all at once to help increase productivity.

Machining – HAAS VF-2 – VF-2Y – VF-4

After saw cutting parts are then sent to the mill room for any holes or machined features. Parts are loaded into vises and with the use of automatic tool holders, different size holes can be drilled or tapped all in one operation.
